On days like this, I'm so glad to be alive. The clothes dryer
I thought expired decided to behave, The Web page finally went
together without a hitch, and I got A call. One of my proposals,
entered into a writing contest has won second prize. An editor
will get to view my prose. That's good news!
Of course, in all the excitement, I burnt the potatoes (making
potatoe salad). I do believe I ruined the pot. But, what's a ruined
pot when someone thinks enough of my skill to suggest someone else
take a look.
Oh, this is a good day!
