Networking

The first Saturday of the month, the local RWA chapter meets
to discuss things. And, of course to talk about writing.
Once again, I'm amazed at how networking helps stimulate
creative juices.

As a writer, you plug along, alone, in the world you have
created. The opportunity to meet with like-minded souls
offers a fresh outlook on your on work. It's been a constant
surprise that we all share the same problems, even though
we all write in a different manner, and for different genres.

It's great to be able to say, 'this is the problem' to someone
who understands. It makes the world of writing a lot less lonely.
So - - now, I'm motivated. Gothic, here I come!
