Computers and me

Here we go again. Over the years I've tried to stay up with tecnology,
but I'm getting awful tired of having to relearn over and over again.
This time I'm complaining about Windows 7. Okay, so I complained
about Vista, and XP and all the rest. Sometimes I want to go
back to just plain DOS.

Of course the young ones today, probably don't even know what DOS
was, but those of us who have been around for a long time know. I
just wonder if anyone else feels my frustration. And it is
frustrating.

Okay, so I'll learn how to use this one, and about the time I get it
down, or almost learned, Windows will come out with 8 or 9 or another
fancy word for the new operating system. But I do believe this time
I'm going to say 'no!' when my kids or my husband says - time to
upgrade.

Nope, this time I'm staying with what I now have that I'm slowing
learning to operate. Of course, I'm also stuck with programs that
don't work with Windows 7. Hmmmm... Well, by the time they catch
up with Windows 7 there will be another operating system, but
like I said, I'm staying with this. I am. I promise.

I am so with you on the updates and changes--I remember DOS! I am going through the same thing learning Windows 7. I rarely play games and I just want to write-lol. I just want the computer and whatever programs to work. Love your work. Great informative blog.
