Here We Go Again

Okay, the weather forecast says New Orleans, but we live
on the Gulf, so that means prepare.

We have the water, we have the generator, we have the
batteries, some thing to cook on, and food, so
now we wait. If it looks like it's moving closer,
then up go the plywood window covers. This will
be the test for them. With my husband's brilliant
design, we should get them up in about four hours.
We'll see. All I can say is I don't want New Orleans
to get hit. We love that city but we sure don't want
it here, either.

Maybe the storm will wind itself out in the middle
of the Gulf. We can all pray for that.

Allison,
watching the news, waiting for the reports,
and not working on the gothic.
